Why the button is grey

At @05:44 he opens it and says it is not available yet. His read: finish the current base first. If your copy lets you prestige earlier, trust the live lock text.

When it is worth pressing

A permanent 20% beats a two-minute 20k over any long session, once the lock is actually open. Do not dump an era’s Points into swords if the last evolve buttons are still grey.

Finish the row, evolve if that is the gate, then rebirth. Point cost is still unknown.

What we have not seen

The Point cost. Whether both partners share one rebirth. How many times you can do it. Whether Greek / Cyberpunk changed the lock.

Rebirth is not a code

20k does not prestige you. UPD1 does not prestige you. Codes are timed income. Rebirth is a plot button.
